| First off I'd like to appologize for yesterdays rant and would like to thank the admins for not baning me. Decided I couldn't wait for a shop to install my HKS SMICs so, I did it myself. The install wasn't too bad, one nut on the driverside near the washerfluid reservior gave me a hard time and that was all. I can reallly appretiate why I decided to pay the extra cash and buy a 91 Z with only 48K miles on it.. I had no rust or nasty corrotion to deal with. Also the write up in FAQ helped a good bit fitting the driverside intercooler in there with those carbon canister lines being in the way. While the bumper is off Im also going to attempt to paint the bottom rockguard black, WV has great roads and also some nasty roads to get to them and my bumper has been taking a beating. Im also going to coat the lowest part of the bumper with A spray-on bedliner from duplicolor, I used it on my stock wheels with amazing results. When I recieved my Greg Duper Super Split downpipes in Aluminzed steal with the ceramic coating, the coating was already flakeing off. I had no problems with this, I was going to strip them anyways and paint them black so I wouldn't get hassled by the WV DOT State Inspection I go through every year. I used this Aircraft Coating Remover, this stuff is amazing, will take just about anything off to bare metal. I decided to go with a flat black "BBQ grill" paint. I used the entire can on both DPs soo hopefully it will hold up. Sometime later this year Id like to replace my OEM foglights with PowerTrix Carbon Fiber ducts. Question... Do I leave in my OEM mounting brackets for the foglight to mount the ducts or do I take them out? How do the ducts mount? Ok... Im done boring you. Here are the pics.
